Bayers Lake Business Park is committed to exploring and supporting initiatives that enhance environmentally responsible and esthetically pleasing aspects of Our Green Park.

The BLBA is excited and encouraged by the ongoing development of a new section of trail that will connect Bayers Lake to the Halifax Urban Greenway.

The new multi-use trail development, made possible by funding through the Canada-Nova Scotia Infrastructure Agreement,  is slated to open at the end of November 2010, with a Grand Opening planned for the spring of 2011.

A large portion of the trail is paved, opening up the trail to people with limited mobility, parents with strollers, roller bladders and other recreational users.

The trail become part of the Trans Canada Trail development that begins at Point Pleasant Park and runs along the South Shore to Yarmouth.

Once the trail is finished, barricades and signs, will be installed to designated restricted uses.
